Rob Lowe is an American actor, filmmaker, and podcast host who was born on March 17, 1964, in Charlottesville, Virginia. He has a brother named Chad who is also an actor.
Lowe started his acting career at the age of 15 with a sitcom called A New Kind of Family. He became a teen idol and a member of the Brat Pack in the 1980s, starring in films like The Outsiders, Class, St. Elmo’s Fire, and About Last Night. He also had a scandalous incident with a female minor that tarnished his image for a while.
