Since 2018, Logan Byrnes has been a news anchor for KUSI News. He anchors the news every weeknight at 4:00, 5:00, 6:00, 10:00, and 11:00 p.m. He worked for two years at FOX 11 Los Angeles and ten years at NBC Connecticut before joining KUSI News.
The 55-year-old anchor is also a licensed attorney with extensive litigation and trial experience. In actuality, he began his career as a legal correspondent for Inside Edition. He practiced law before becoming a journalist.
Logan has spent over a decade reporting and blogging in Connecticut. Before the local Fox station engaged him to launch their new 6-hour weekday morning newscast, he anchored the highest-rated weekday morning newscast at NBC Connecticut for several years.
Logan has covered a variety of stories, including the high-profile trials of Michael Jackson, Kobe Bryant, and Robert Blake, and live reporting from ground zero in New York City immediately after the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
He covered forest fires, mudslides, and high-speed police pursuits in Southern California and anchored prolonged live coverage during the 2017 Las Vegas music festival shooting, the Newtown School shooting massacre, and the arrest of Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.
