Randy Meisner hailed from Scottsbluff, Nebraska, a city in the western part of the state.
He was born to Herman Meisner and Emilie Meisner, farmers by profession. Growing up in an agricultural setting, Randy learned the value of hard work and perseverance from a young age.
The Meisner family tended to crops such as corn, beans, alfalfa, and sugar beets on their farm, contributing to the local agricultural community.
Additionally, Randy’s family heritage was deeply rooted in Volga German ancestry. All four of his grandparents were Volga German immigrants, which likely influenced the cultural upbringing of the Meisner household.
