Aidan has denied appearing in the alleged video, but Georg Gauger has yet to respond. He has been a significant member of Senator Ben Cardin’s congressional staff since 2021. Aidan also made a public apology on LinkedIn, confessing his previous mistakes.
He went on to describe the situation as follows: “These are challenging times for me, as I find myself under attack for my relationships, seemingly to further a political cause.” While admitting that some of his prior actions were not the best decisions, he stated that he appreciates his profession and would never intentionally embarrass his employer.
The former worker for U.S. Senator Ben Cardin went on to explain that any other description of his behavior is false. Aidan concluded his statement by saying, “I am currently considering the legal avenues open to me in response to these issues.”
