Simon Piacente was not the type to put himself in a box. He was a novelist as well as a musician. Simon’s book “Cosmic Jones-The Full Lyrics 2004 to 2022” was launched in February of last year. The book compiled all of his musical records from the past 20 years. It had 650 tracks and 28 albums.
Simon stated in his article that the song’s lyrics, as well as a few bits of poetry, were written during his time in several bands before his solo professional recording career. Simon published a new book in 2022. The book’s title was “The Secret World of Multicolluria,” and it was a fantasy/fiction epic.
Simon stated that he had always wanted to write books in the same genre as Harry Porter, Narnia, and the Lord of the Rings, and that this work differed from his horror works in that it was geared at children aged eight and up. Simon previously described his writing profession and where he received inspiration in an interview. He also advised prospective authors that it was never too late to start.
