“A sad day – I want to pay particular tribute to one of my predecessors, Alistair Darling,” Chancellor Jeremy Hunt continued.
“One of the greatest Chancellors, he will be known for acting honorably toward the nation during a period of unprecedented upheaval. My sincere condolences to his family.”
