At the tender age of 13, Shreyas met with a tragic accident at the Madras International Circuit, cutting short a potentially brilliant career that had just begun.

The World Championship final for two-wheeler racing was held in Spain in May 2023, and the 13-year-old was the first Indian to participate. There, he finished fourth and fifth.
The late racer also won in the MiniGP India series in September 2022. He won four straight races in 2023 to completely dominate the Petronas TVS One-Make Championship rookie class.
