Sheen’s career began after she completed her studies when she was hired as an intern at Tallahassee News. She polished her abilities there for a while, and as she acquired expertise, the directors offered her a full-time position, and she became an official meteorologist and reporter. Sheen stayed for a few years before accepting an offer from WTVT station to become the new meteorologist and columnist for the Fox-affiliated station. Sheena was quickly promoted to head weather forecaster as a result of her hard work; nonetheless, a lack of challenge upset Sheena, and she began looking for a new job.
She departed WTVT in 2011 after two years of service and accepted a job offer from NBC 10.

National Success for the Big NBC Family

Sheena relocated to Philadelphia from Tampa Bay and began working for NBC 10 in December 2011. She was hired as their new weekday evening meteorologist and stayed for the next five years. During this period, Sheena won the hearts of everyone on NBC, making it feel like a huge joyful family.

She’d become accustomed to water sports in Florida and was disappointed that she couldn’t partake in one of her favorite pastimes in her new home. As a result, she ordered a paddleboard from San Diego and had it transported across the nation, calling it the “greatest decision ever.” Sheena relocated to Washington after Philadelphia but remained with NBC. She was seen on NBC 4 this time, and she continued to work as a weekday morning meteorologist.

Sheena worked on “News Today” among other shows, although she only stayed in Washington until September 2018, when she relocated to San Diego and joined NBC 7. She made her debut appearance at her new station on October 17th, and she can now be seen between 4:30 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, Monday through Friday. Sheena has covered various blizzards, storms, tornadoes, and hurricanes over her career; one of the major events she covered was Hurricane Sandy’s landfall on the New Jersey shore.
