Roz began her career in Chicago, where she worked for WLS Radio. She began as a traffic reporter and progressed to other positions before moving to WLAK/WLIT Radio and WUSN Radio. She was an on-air radio personality for a short period and also worked for another radio station named WFYR Radio Station.
Roz was hired as a Traffic/Transportation anchor and was the first in the country to bring traffic rush hour reporting to the morning news on television. She joined the ABC7 News channel’s energetic crew in April 1989 and began her career as an anchor. With the passage of time, she found herself reporting about Chicagoans’ traffic snarls and travel times. Despite this, she used to provide detailed coverage of transportation and each news genre. She has extensively covered transportation stories with a background in technology and construction, featuring them with an affiliation of travel articles, in addition to being a transportation specialist and anchor.
