It was December 2, 1992 when the UFC fighter was born. Chito was born in Ecuador, despite the fact that he currently resides in California. He came from a middle-class family at birth. He has an older sister and a younger brother as siblings. In his newly adopted city of Guayaquil, Vera started studying Brazilian jiu-jitsu at the age of 16 after spending his teens making a scene and engaging in street fights.
Speaking of his romantic relationships, the UFC fighter is a proud husband to Maria Paulina Escobar. He met his wife in his home country before moving to the United States of America to pursue his mixed martial arts career. The couple are the devoted parents of José Ignacio (born 2015), a cute son, and two gorgeous girls, Ana Paula and Eliana (both born in 2018).
