Allen Stone was born on 13 March 1987 to his father, Danny Stone, and his mother, whose name is yet to be made public.
The R&B singer grew up in a small town near Spokane, Chewelah, Washington. Allen grew up around music. His father, Danny Stone, was the pastor/preacher at a local church.
Allen began singing at church when he was three. On the other hand, the Chewelah native’s mother was an OB/GYN nurse.
By the time Stone was 11, he had begun learning guitar and self-recoding demo tapes for his friends and even wrote his first song. Soon after, he began managing youth worship teams.
The skilled singer was drawn to music primarily for being able to express himself in front of a vast audience. He didn’t know about soul music until he was a teenager. Following his discovery, he became more inclined to classic soul music and collected golden-age albums and vintage R&B.
After finishing high school, Stone relocated from Chewelah to Seattle at 18, where he started his career as a songwriter and singer.
In a short period, he attracted thousands of admirers after beginning with a few shows on the West Coast. After that, he started playing live shows, touring up to 200 times annually.
