During the interview, Dorfman also revealed that she will not be changing her name. She was named after her mother’s brother, who passed away a month after she was born. Because of this, she shares a special connection to the name and will stick to it.
The actress also added that she was just transitioning into more of herself rather than just changing her name or identity. It was also for this reason that she did not go for the older way of coming out as a trans person with a new name, face, and body after disappearing for a year or two.
