She has currently served as an Investigative Reporter at The New York Times since February 2016. Megan investigated Donald Tramp’s story on the treatment of women, his business relationship with Russia, and his history of paying taxes. In 2018 she won the Pulitzer Prize for her public service.
Before that, she worked as a reporter at Thomson Reuters in new york for a period of more than four years. Previously, she joined Chicago Tribune in July 2007 and served as a reporter until her contract termination in February 2012.
Her career life kicked off as an intern at The Washington Monthly as an Editorial Intern working for one year. Megan later moved to the National Journal where she held the position of a reporter at the station for two years.
Additionally, she spent a year working at the Moscow Times as a reporter between 2001 and 2002. She later resigned from Moscow and moved to Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and worked as a reporter for the station for a period of four years.
