Christopher Mims is the aspiring spouse of Taylor Lorenz, an established journalist.
Their relationship lasted for a while before they announced their engagement in January 2015. Mims works in the media, just like Lorenz.
With over ten years of expertise, Mims has written about a wide range of topics related to technology, such as microchips, teen digital habits, energy and materials, and the mobile revolution.
Since 2014, he has contributed a technology column to The Wall Street Journal.
He had previously served as Quartz’s chief technology journalist and has contributed science and technology pieces to Smithsonian, Wired, Atlantic, Scientific American, and other magazines.
In addition, he contributed to the MIT Technology Review’s editorial board in 2011 and 2012.
Mims, who won the Sabew Prize for commentary, is the author of the book Arriving Today, which explains the operation of supply chains.
In terms of education, he earned a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience and behavioral biology from Emory University in 2001.
