Lee Greenwood began his professional career in 1962, when he formed the band “The Apollos.” After a few years of playing at local Vegas casinos, the band was approached by Paramount Records and given the opportunity to work with them. However, the band disbanded in the 1970s, and Lee was signed by MCA Records in 1981. Lee’s debut single, “It turns me inside out,” was released by MCA and reached the top of the country music charts. Lee had gotten his big break at long last. Lee became one of the most well-known country performers in the 1980s after releasing multiple albums. His legendary track “God Bless the USA” has been fired three times and is still one of the most patriotic songs ever written. In his career, Lee has released twenty-two studio albums.
