Wayne Brady previously battled depression. He had hardly recovered from the terrible news of one of the greatest comedians of all time, Robin Williams, who committed suicide in August 2014. Brady also tweeted after his death, “Depression is real. God’s blessings on him and his family.”
However, a few months after Williams’ death, the actor was diagnosed with the same condition. Wayne admitted to having a “complete breakdown” on his 42nd birthday. He also claimed that he struggled alone for a long time before his ex-wife Mandie helped him get it together and recuperate. He went on to say,
“To say she’s my best friend in the world is an understatement.” I have a lady at my back who threatens, ‘If you touch him, I will cut you,’ even though she is not my wife.
If they have a woman like Mandie in their life, it may be a great blessing. We wish them and their family the best.
