Lascelles Chin had a fantastic career and enjoyed significant business success. He was associated with LASCO, whose products in Jamaica have come to be thought of as being of high quality and reasonable prices. The LASCO Distributors Ltd. company was founded in 1988.
The business has since offered its services to the broader public. Likewise, organizations like the Jamaica Exporter’s Association and the Jamaica Industrial Development Corporation have lauded Chin’s expertise and advice. Chin also served on the Kings House Foundation’s board of directors. Chin also served on the University of the West Indies School of Nursing’s advisory board.
Chin’s numerous accomplishments earned her a number of awards. In 2001, he received the Order of Jamaica, the fourth-highest civilian honor bestowed by the nation. Chin has motivated a large number of people by asking those who can participate actively in coming up with organized, systematic solutions to the problems facing the country.
Through the Lasco Chin Foundation, where our most vulnerable citizens will receive the training and support they need to achieve, he intends to leave a legacy of problem-solving to Jamaican society. People are currently mourning his passing, and Genius Celebs sends its deepest sympathies to his family.
