Wharton picked the same root due to the influence of her musician father. She is presently the bassist for Loomis & the Lust, an independent pop-rock band from California formed in 2008.
Will, her husband, is the lead singer of the band. The band’s first EP was published a year after its founding, followed by Space Camp in 2010.
Additionally, the band has released several singles, including “Bright Red Chords,” which was nominated for MTVu’s “Freshman” music video award. Elle is also a singer, and she routinely publishes social media footage of herself performing on various programs.
