Kaylor dated Erich Schwer, a software engineer and entrepreneur who appeared on season 19 of The Bachelorette as one of the suitors for Michelle Young. They met on the dating app Hinge in January 2023 and hit it off right away. They dated for six months and even planned to move in together. However, Erich broke up with Amanda in July 2023, just two weeks before he left for the show. He told her that he wanted to pursue his career opportunities and that he did not see a future with her.
Amanda was heartbroken by Erich’s sudden breakup and felt betrayed by him. Amanda Kaylor tried to move on with her life but struggled with depression and anxiety.
