Zackary Thomas Steffen was born in Coatesville, Pennsylvania, to mother Stefanie Steffen and father William Steffen on April 2, 1995. Katy, a college softball player at Penn State University’s Brandywine campus, and Lexi, a collegiate soccer player at West Chester University, are his two sisters, while Ben and Cole are his two brothers. He is the oldest of the group.
Aside from soccer, he enjoys tattooing and has numerous tattoos honoring his family. Zack enrolled in the US Soccer Development Academy, where he earned his high school diploma while also playing soccer. For his freshman and sophomore years, he attended Malvern Preparatory School. He transferred to Downingtown West High School for his senior year. While in Maryland, he studied marketing.
