Bill and Melinda employed 300 construction workers throughout their 66,000-square-foot estate in the Seattle, Washington suburbs. Building it cost over $63 million, with just $1 million going toward taxes.
Similarly, reports state that the mansion was constructed using materials from the Pacific Northwest and nearly 500-year-old Douglas fir trees. The property has a 20-car garage, a home theater, a trampoline room, a spa, a 60-foot pool, six kitchens, twenty-four bathrooms, a 25,000-square-foot square-protection hall that can hold 200 people, and a 2100-square-foot library.
Better yet, the home even features a beach with imported Caribbean sands. A sophisticated automated sensor system is also installed to keep an eye on the lighting and temperature of the space.
The five-member family had long since moved into the multimillion-dollar estate.
