Mr. Malin, 59, was well-known for being the proud father of actress Emma Griffiths Malin and the stepson of renowned actor John Le Mesurier.

David, born in Broadstairs on June 10, 1957, had strong ties to the seaside community of Ramsgate, where he spent much of his life.
Joan Le Mesurier, David’s mother, stayed in Ramsgate after his stepfather John passed away in 1983.
David carried his father’s legacy, Mark Eden, who was born Douglas Malin, with him on his voyage.
He continued his schooling at Christ Church and afterward at Dane Court, paving the way for his career in the arts.
David developed his artistic abilities as an actor, pianist, and composer. Aside from his creative endeavors, David loved spending time at their Ramsgate home with his long-term partner.
