Robert’s lack of desire in having a child with Ashley, according to the court paperwork he submitted, was the reason for their divorce. Robert claimed in the statement that he and Ashley had made up their minds to have a child before getting married in 1998.
Robert clarified that he changed his mind following the wedding, though. He claimed he didn’t want any more children because he already had four biological ones. In the end, it prompted Ashley to divorce Robert.
