Lisa Jones has a knack for treating large animals, especially cows, thanks to her previous experience before joining Pol Veterinary Services in Weidman, Michigan. There, she works with the legendary Dr. Jan Pol, who hired her in July 2019. Lisa is not only a skilled veterinarian, but also a star of the small screen and a passionate horse lover. She is a fan favorite on the hit reality show “The Incredible Dr. Pol”, which follows the adventures of Dr. Pol and his team as they care for animals of all shapes and sizes in rural Michigan. Lisa has appeared in more than 70 episodes, showcasing her enthusiasm, dedication, and talent in animal medicine. She loves the variety and challenge of working at the clinic, as she explained in an interview with Charles Pol, Dr. Pol’s son and co-star of the show.
“I feel like I learn something new every single day, whether it’s a new technique or a new problem that I’m trying to solve with the patient. It’s every day I’m not bored, and that’s what I was looking for in a job. So yes, I’m stretched and I learn every day, and that’s been my favorite part.”.
But Lisa’s love for animals does not end there. She also owns and runs Panorama Farm, a full-service equestrian stable in Tivoli, New York. There, she offers boarding, schooling, training, and lessons for horses and riders of all levels and disciplines. She is also an avid competitor in the Extreme Mustang Makeover, a program that challenges trainers to tame and train wild mustangs in just four months. She has successfully completed the program with her Mustang mare, Mouse, and has participated in several events with her.
Lisa Jones is a remarkable woman who has lived in New York, Arizona, Colorado, and Michigan, pursuing her passion for animals and veterinary medicine.
