During 2022 Miami Swim Week, model Brooks Nader recounted an amusingly embarrassing first date anecdote. She recalled going to Bond Street Sushi with her now-husband, Billy Haire, and how things turned unexpectedly. Brooks arrived a little late, but that wasn’t the main issue. Due to an unknown stomach problem, she raced to the lavatory and vomited as she ate her first piece of sushi.
Regardless of this tragic tragedy, fate had other plans. Billy Haire, a SI Swimsuit model and Arena Group Vice President persisted and married. Brooks recounted how she raced out of the restaurant on that particular day, prompting Billy to feel she was uninterested in him. Their trip continued with multiple dates, and their friendship became stronger as a result. The couple married in a stunning New Orleans wedding in December 2019.
