Rashid Khan has ten siblings in his family, which includes ten brothers and four sisters. Unfortunately, the cricketer has not disclosed names or any private details about his family on the web.
A video of the bowler and his brothers playing cricket at home was previously uploaded on social media. The short reel went viral; many pointed out Rashid’s siblings as they bowl naturally with leg spin.
As per reports, the cricketer does an “Aeroplane” celebration after each wicket he takes at the request of one of his nephews.
Rashid Khan was born to his father and mother on September 20, 1998, in his hometown in Nangarhar Province, Afghanistan.
He and his father have a tight bond. In one of his tweets, Rashid said that his father was the most significant figure in his life.
Rashid was saddened when his father passed away in December 2018. According to the bowler, his father had always taught him to have bravery in his daily existence.
Although the sportsman hasn’t shared a photo of himself with his mother, his tweets have demonstrated how much he values her. In June 2020, Rashid Khan’s mother sadly passed away following a protracted illness.
Rashid lost his childhood to the violence that erupted in Afghanistan in 2001. The cricketer was forced to reside in a camp for refugees close to the Pakistani border because of the protracted and violent battle between the Taliban and the US.
