According to Pastor Dwight's website, Pastor Dwight Kevin Buckner, Jr. is originally from Minneapolis, Minn. He's a seventh generation pastor who has a pretty thorough background in religion and divinity from both his upbringing and his education. In 2012, he graduated from Pentecostal Seminary in Cleveland, Tenn., with a Master of Divinity Degree. He's currently married to Elisa Bennett Buckner and they have two kids together.

Pastor Dwight is also the author of Breaking The Cycle of Lust, so maybe this is why he felt the need to persuade Chris to be with Paige, and showed outrage when he learned Chris wanted to divorce her and get back together with Mercedes. He's uh, an expert in this kind of thing, apparently. The pastor has an active Instagram, where he has just over 4,200 followers.

So far, it doesn't look like Pastor Dwight has addressed Chris's accusations of giving him the wrong advice (although...just saying...Chris could have made the right decision without the blessing of his friend).
