Ryan no longer works for CTV News. In November 2021, he became a weather anchor for CTV Morning News.
He will join a team of experienced journalists and producers committed to delivering accurate and impartial news coverage to their audience.
Before moving to Calgary, Ryan worked as a Journalist in St. John’s, Newfoundland, and Labrador, where he was honored with two Atlantic Journalism Awards for his coverage of breaking news. He has had similar positions in Edmonton and Winnipeg.
The news of his departure shocked many viewers who had come to admire and respect his work.
This move marks a new chapter in his career as he transitions from one of the top news stations in Calgary to one of the largest media organizations in Western Canada.
