The College Football Playoff Rankings will be unveiled on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at 7 p.m. ET. In its usual spot for one final week, the College Football Playoff Rankings show will debut the penultimate edition of the 2023 standings ahead of conference championship week.
Of the final four spots for the College Football Playoff, it’s likely that the conference championship weekend will include multiple win-and-they’re-in games. According to the College Football Network Power Rankings, the games between the following teams will likely secure their fate with a victory:
- Pac-12 Championship: Washington vs. Oregon
- SEC Championship: Alabama vs. Georgia
Chaos could still ensue as multiple teams would need to win to leave their record unblemished in front of the eyes of the committee.

Michigan plays Iowa in the Big Ten Championship, hoping to improve to 13-0 and secure their fate. Florida State plays Louisville in the ACC Championship Game, hoping to improve their record to 13-0 and all but secure their fate.
Outside of those four potential undefeated teams (Washington, Georgia, Michigan, and Florida State), the College Football Playoff Rankings could become unhinged with multiple conference championship losses.
