In terms of her educational background, she attended Smyrna High School in Smyrna, Tennessee. She is currently a member of the MIDTN Volleyball club. She used to play volleyball for her school and is an honors student as well as a three-sport athlete there.
Furthermore, when she played volleyball, she wore a 23 jersey number T-shirt. She also finished third in the 2018 City Champs Volleyball tournament. But then she was in a terrible accident, and her entire life was turned upside down.

On Saturday, February 18, 2023, Janae Edmondson was involved in a horrific accident in St. Louis, Missouri. She was on her way to a volleyball tournament with her family that day.
When Janae was in St Louis, an unlicensed Audi driver ran through a yield sign, hitting a car that flew into the air and hit her. She was immediately taken to the hospital, where she received first-rate care and survived. Doctors had to amputate both of her legs to save her life.
Mid TN director Rhonda Ross established a GoFundMe page at which is also accessible via the club website (midtnvbc.com). A donation in excess of $700,000 has been made.
According to police, the driver of the Audi is Daniel Riley, who is 21 years old. When he hit Janae, he was driving at 45 mph in a 20 mph zone. Meanwhile, Daniel has already faced criminal charges while on bail for a robbery case. In addition, he was driving without a license. Riley violated the terms of the GPS monitoring bracelet when he was identified by police. Police detained him on the spot and charged him with several counts of assault, including second-degree assault.
