Married at First Sight is an American reality television program that premiered on FYI on July 8, 2014, and later transferred to Lifetime.
The series is based on the Danish series “Gift at First Sight,” which debuted on DR3 on September 4, 2013. Global broadcasters have licensed the format of the original Danish television series.
Throughout the fifteen seasons of MAFS, 59 couples have been paired. On Decision Day, 43 of them chose to remain married; however, nearly two-thirds of them have since divorced, filed for divorce, or publicly announced their separation. In February 2023, only twelve couples remained together.
