Val Sotto, the father of Mother Wahoo Sotto is the daughter of Val Sotto and Theresa Marco-Sotto, who were married in 1969 and had four children together, including Wahoo.
Known professionally as Valmar Castelo Sotto, Val Sotto is a well-known comedian, singer, songwriter, and actor from the Philippines.
Most famously, he was a lead singer for the Filipino group VST & Company.
Additionally, Val portrayed the title character in the TAPE Inc.-produced television series “Agila,” which aired on RPN and ABS-CBN from 1987 to 1992.
It is noteworthy to remember that from 2004 to 2013, Val Sotto, like his son Wahoo, was a councilor in Parañaque’s second district.
Wahoo Sotto celebrated his parents’ amazing milestone—their 50th wedding anniversary—publicly around four years ago.
