Hakim was born to Syrita and Hakim Hart in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He considers his younger brother to be his inspiration. “Keem” is Hakim’s nickname.
Tracy McGrady and Dwyane Wade are his sports heroes. Hakim decided to choose Maryland due to its heritage and customs.
With deep appreciation, Hakim hopes to use his position to motivate young people in his community by showing them that perseverance and hard effort can make goals come true.
