After graduating from Perm State University, she started looking for agencies that could sign her. Her brother helped her find a modelling agency that was based in St. Petersburg.
She started uploading her modelling pics on Instagram and started receiving a considerable following. As of 2021, her Instagram account has over 5 million followers. Before becoming a mainstream model, she worked for smaller fashion shows.
She found her fame working with St. Petersburg-based photographer and owner of Mavrin Studios Alexander Mavrin. Viki is signed to Mavrin Models and has worked with Alexander on different projects. Mavrin Studios has signed top models such as Helga Lovekaty and Diana Melison.
In 2015, she got her first significant modelling gig when she was featured in Playboy Magazine. Since then, she has appeared in different magazines, music videos, as well as in ad campaigns. The model has also appeared on the covers of different magazines such as Fashion People Magazine, Treats! Magazine Issue 13, Maxim and Sports Illustrated.
Odintcova is no stranger to controversy. In 2017, the model took her modelling quest to another level. Seeking to take the perfect photo, the model and her entourage uploaded a video where Viki dangled from a 1,004-foot-high building in Dubai.
