Vongavirates revealed to the Daily Mail in 2019 that the Fantastic Mr. Fox actor had yet to contact Lil Lyla. “Unfortunately, he has never met her,” Varunie remarked.
Furthermore, Owen’s ex stated that she implored him to get part in their daughter’s life in 2019. According to the 39-year-old model,
‘He contributes monetarily, but that was never the point. Lyla requires a father figure. It’s odd that [Owen] keeps getting father roles; in his current film, he plays a father who has never met his own daughter.’
