Initially, Valentina Sampaio studied architecture at the Fortaleza College in Ceará. When she was 16, she left the course and got enrolled in a fashion college. In college, she drew the attention of a makeup artist who then worked at a modeling agency in Sao Paulo. And so, in November 2016, Valentina was dressed for the first time in the fashion week.
In 2017, Valentina became the first transgender model to be part of the Vogue Paris edition. This event was the first time that the magazine had continued for 97 years. Then she was on the cover of Vogue Germany and Vogue Brasil.
In August 2019, she joined Victoria’s Secret in her VS PINK back-to-campus campaign. This was considered to be a significant milestone in her career.Most recently, she was represented by Women Mgmt: Paris, New York, Milan, and Joy mgmt: BR. Elite: United Kingdom.
