The parents of Erin Blanchfield are George and Betsy. The MMA fighter was born in Elmwood Park, New Jersey, on May 4, 1999. The UFC, however, refers to Blanchfield as “fighting out of New York.” She entered kickboxing and grappling competitions at age seven and began training in jiu-jitsu.
Erin made the decision to become a professional boxer at the age of 12. Before being signed by the UFC, she had competed for a few MMA promotions. Brend Blanchfield is Blanchfield’s brother. She plans to become a pundit in the future and is pursuing a degree in television and digital media at Montclair State University.
