Lambrou was born on 25 May 1998 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. He was born into a Greek-Cypriot family. Due to this, Andrew was qualified to represent Cyprus at the 67th Eurovision Song Contest.
Moreover, the Sydney-born musician’s one grandfather is reportedly from Paphos, Cyprus. It has also been reported that Lambrou has Greek roots.

Lambrou’s musical journey began at a very young age. The musician’s mother enrolled him in music school when he was only five years old.
