In the true spirit of celebrating life's greatest memories, the Basement Treasures kit includes multiple items that are nods to previous Sims games. For example, there's an item called the Disassembled Heart Bed, which simply looks like a mattress and some miscellaneous pieces leaning against the wall. However, it's actually a reference to The Sims 1's "vibromatic" Heart-shaped Bed, which was a fan favorite item that allowed your Sims to WooHoo for the first time.

The Basement Treasures kit also includes a houseplant called Uncle Bob's Dusty Rubber Plant, which is almost an exact replica of the Rubber Tree Plant from The Sims 1.

Players who purchase the pack for $4.99 will receive messy-looking furniture, a vintage TV, a milk crate full of records, a few dirty wall decals, lights that actually flicker in Live Mode, and plenty of boxes and trinkets to really emphasize that lived-in look. Not only will this kit allow your Sims to live a slightly messier life, but it will also provide great opportunities for storytelling between generations of Sims.

While this kit may not be for everyone, it will certainly appeal to a ton of Sims players — especially legacy Sims players and those who love family gameplay.

The Basement Treasures is available on all platforms now.
