Willa Ford began her singing career as Mandah when she was 18 years old. MCA signed her originally, but she eventually left the firm. She was later discovered and signed by Atlantic Records.
Willa Was Here, Ford’s debut album, was released on July 17, 2001. Her album sold more than 250,000 copies worldwide and reached number 56 on the Billboard 200. In 2001, she co-wrote and released the duet Satisfied with Park Ji-Yoon.
Ford’s musical career was bolstered by her debut as a Pussycat Dolls guest doll. In 2006, she competed in the third season of Dancing with the Stars. However, she and her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy were eliminated in the fifth week of the competition.
Willa made her cinematic debut in 2007 with The Anna Nicole Smith Story. She also acted opposite Jared Padalecki and Danielle Panabaker in the 2009 picture Friday the 13th. In 2019, the actress appeared on the reality show Flip It Like Disick.
