Texan Ashley Lopez, a mother of five, was slain in a street brawl.
Pennie Gomez, 36, was the driver of the car that ran over her.
The event happened in the late hours of January 11 in San Antonio, Texas. Another lady was ran over as well, but she survived with injuries.
Lopez was remembered by her family as a kind daughter and a devoted mother.
According to her mother Ana Blanco, her 11-year-old granddaughter was tormented by students at school.
The residence is close to South Picoso Street and Angela Walk. Pennie got in her vehicle and started driving toward the throng as the altercation started in the street.
The sister-in-law of Ashley Andrea Mata said that she had no idea who Pennie was and that she and Ashley didn’t have a history of animosity.
The family of the 28-year-old is seeking funding to pay for funeral expenses. She has not disclosed any information about her relationship.
Ashley’s marital status is unknown, and the identities of the fathers of the five children are likewise unknown.
