Is A Member of One Of The Wealthiest Family In the USA Norma Hunt’s late husband, Lamar Hunt, created a business empire that, as of September 2020, is valued for more than $3 billion. The Hunt family is the owner of football team Kansas City Chiefs, which is valued at $2.3 billion by Forbes in September 2020. There is no doubt the value will rise in 2020 as the team won Super Bowl LIV against San Francisco 49ers.

Also, the family is the owner of FC Dallas, a Major League Soccer team. Its value is reported to be nearly $200 million. Furthermore, it also has a chunk of shares in the Chicago Bulls, which is the NBA’s fourth most valuable franchise.  Norma owns some shares in each of these business ventures. It is reported she owns 2 percent of the Chiefs, whereas the four children of Lamar Hunt each own about 24.5 percent.

Owner of the Wine Company

Norma developed a passion for viniculture after visiting Tuscany, Italy. Thus she and her late husband bought a vineyard in Napa Valley, California, in 2000.  By 2002 they started selling wines called Perfect Season Cabernet Sauvignon. In June 2019, Hunt listed the property for sale for $20 million. Alongside the vineyard, the land features a home with three-bedrooms, four and a half bathrooms, a wine cellar, and a four-car garage.

Sadly, The Chief’s matriarch could not find any buyer at that time, so they removed the property from listing. However, in January 2020, the land is back in the market for $15 million.  Norma, though, is selling the vineyard; however, she has no intention to stop making wine. She will continue to sell wine through her brand, A Perfect Season.
