As per the information, Steve Roger’s mugshot is unknown. Rogers was the Director of International Operations at Trend International, a Trend Group company.
Leonard Hoffman was Trend Group’s Vice President of Administration, in charge of the company’s finances in Connecticut.
Trend Group was primarily a financial services company, and Lease Trend, one of its companies, was principally leasing acquired equipment to end customers.
The lessee applied to Lease Trend and agreed to make monthly payments when the equipment was delivered, installed, and accepted.
Trend Group never repaid the $2 million borrowed under the BUE line of credit. BUE sued Lease Trend and secured a judgment, and it attempted to collect on the leases it held as collateral.
Before his indictment, Rogers signed a written waiver of the statute of limitations for any offenses committed on his behalf.
The district court issued an order addressing the matter the next day. The court directed in that order that any consultation between Rafsky and Rogers’ previous counsel
Rogers undergoes questioning by law enforcement officials, and any statements made during this time may be used as evidence.
