Stephanie started her training to be a referee in the middle of the millennium. She initially appeared on the FIFA International Referees List in 2009. Frappart began working in a match in 2011.
This football game took place in France’s third tier, the Championnat National. In 2014, Frappart become the first female official in Ligue 2. The FIFA Women’s World Cup in Canada in 2015 had Stephanie as a referee.
Frappart received the biggest call of her career around the end of 2018, which was for the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup. She participated in a couple of games during the group stage before being selected to officiate the championship match.
In April 2019, Stephanie became the first female official in Ligue 1. The following year, she was the first woman to officiate a match in the UEFA Champions League between Juventus and Dynamo Kyiv.
Stephanie officiated the 2022 Coupe de France Final in early 2022, and she, Salima Mukansanga, and Yoshimi Yamashita were all selected to officiate the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
