The allegations against Dutchavelli, whose real name is Stephan Allen, surfaced in November 2020, when screenshots of his alleged messages to a 14-year-old girl were leaked online.
The messages showed him asking for her age, complimenting her appearance, and inviting her to his hotel room.
The girl claimed that she told him she was 14, but he continued to message her and even sent her a voice note.
Dutchavelli denied the allegations and said that his Instagram account was hacked. He also said that the girl was lying about her age and that she was actually 17.
He said that he never met her in person and that he only messaged her because she was a fan of his music.
He said that police visited the girl’s home because her address had been posted online and they had a “duty of care”. He also denied paying off the girl’s family, as some people suggested online.

The allegations sparked a backlash against Dutchavelli on social media, with many people calling him a “predator” and a “pedophile”.
Some of his fellow rappers, such as Tion Wayne and Stormzy, also distanced themselves from him and unfollowed him on Instagram.
Dutchavelli’s music was also removed from some playlists on Spotify and YouTube.
