Sky Brown began skating in her spare time in 2012. She gained notoriety in 2016 after competing in the Vans US Open Pro Series. She was the youngest female competitor in the series’ history. Sky has become one of the most followed and influential child personalities after six long years of practice and determination.
Sky also competed on the first season of Dancing with the Stars: Juniors in 2018. Similarly, she won 2019, even being named Estonia’s Tallinn. She also finished third at the World Skateboarding Championships that year and was the first female to land a frontside 540 at the X-Games. In the year 2020, she became one of five British skateboarders attempting to qualify for the Summer Olympics’ skateboarding events. Unfortunately, on 28 May, while training in California, she was involved in an accident in which she fell from a half-pipe ramp, sustaining several skill fractures and breaking her left hand and wrist.
