The couple chose to marry after dating for almost four years, and on October 10, 2016, they married in a Las Vegas ceremony supervised by an Elvis impersonator. A municipal authority stated the couple were not lawfully married just two days later. Later that month, LaBeouf acknowledged their marriage on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” and the pair announced their separation and divorce in September 2018, just two years after they married.
