The officer is single as of 2019. He was previously married to Jodie Sweetin, his girlfriend. The pair met in 2000 and quickly began dating. The couple exchanged wedding vows two years later, on July 27, 2002.
Their marriage was short-lived, as Shaun’s wife fell into bad company and began abusing a variety of drugs. Following their marriage, she developed an addiction to crystal meth while her husband was away on duty with the police.
She was asked in an interview with People,
“Your husband, Shaun Holguin, is a police officer in Los Angeles. Was he aware?”
Her response to this was that she had no idea and that he was lying a lot to cover up the fact that the amount was insane at the time. She added that she would be doing drugs in the bathroom when Shaun knocked on the door to check on her.
She responded,”
“I’d deceive him. I lied about why I wasn’t sleeping and why I’d lost 30 pounds and dropped to approximately 100 pounds.”
Despite knowing the bitter truth about her, her husband supported her. He assisted her in obtaining sobriety and referred her to a six-month rehab facility. Due to his wife’s drug use, he was unable to trust her for an extended period of time, and thus divorced her in 2006.
The couple was blessed with a child as a result of their relationship, but no information about the child is available. Shaun is not rumored to be dating anyone following their divorce. His ex-wife, on the other hand, began dating Cody Herpin, a film transportation coordinator.
The pair dated for two months before marrying in July 2007. She became pregnant the following year and gave birth to a daughter, Zoie, on April 12, 2008. Their relationship lasted only a year before they divorced in 2010.
She gave birth to her second child, Beatrix, with her boyfriend Morty Coyle on August 31, 2010. After a year and a half, the couple married in a private wedding ceremony. Their relationship did not work out, and Jodie filed for divorce in June 2013; the divorce was finalized in September 2015.
Despite three failed marriages, she maintained her faith in love. She discovered love with her new boyfriend, Justin Hodak. After dating for two years, the couple got engaged in January 2016. However, he was unable to marry Jodie after she called off the engagement in March 2017.
