The couple decided to drop a bombshell reveal on Mother's Day 2021, and that was that Lauren had given birth to the couple's first child, a daughter named George, a month prior.

"Happy first Mother’s Day to my beautiful wife, who four weeks ago today after laboring for almost three days gave birth to our first child — our gorgeous daughter, George." Samira captioned a photo of the child being cradled by her and Lauren shared on social media.

Neither of the women even hinted at the fact that they were expecting a child throughout the duration of Lauren's pregnancy, even as rumors of them wanting to be parents swirled in the media. Nonetheless, it's clear they're ready to share their love now. 

"Welcome to the world, baby girl. We love you and we thank you for giving us the best first Mother’s Day two ladies could ask for," Samira's caption went on to read. It also included the baby's birth date: April 11, 2021.

Samira and Lauren have been happily together for almost seven years now, and their journey of self-discovery through intimacy, support, and a mutual understanding of the world has fostered a pretty amazing bond between the two. Given how endearingly they've talked about potentially having kids over the years, it's only a matter of time before we see if the loving duo can translate those good attributes into their newfound parenthood as well.
