Snodgrass began her teaching career in Springfield Public Schools as a Pleasant View teacher. He was enthusiastic to coach whatever sport the school offered while teaching science at Pleasant View. As an assistant principal at Jarrett Middle School and Hillcrest High School, he advanced his career.
He returned to Pleasant View as principal for seven years in 2001. Later, the Springfield native was named principal of Central High School, a position he held until 2015. Snodgrass began working as a temporary director at Greenwood Laboratory School in July 2021, after leading Central High for seven years.
In May 2022, he was named the new director of the Greenwood Laboratory School, a position he now holds on the Missouri State University campus. Snodgrass’ officiating career stretches back decades, with notable accomplishments as a Division I college football head referee.
He officiated a variety of sports throughout high school, including baseball, basketball, and volleyball. He worked his way up the ranks to become a well-known figure in college football officiating. He will be in head of the officiating crew for the Ole Miss-Baylor Sugar Bowl in 2022.
Snodgrass also officiated the recent 2024 Sugar Bowl game between Texas and Washington. Despite his administrative responsibilities, Snodgrass maintains his passion for refereeing college football games.
